Toooooooooo-morrow

toooooomorrow tomorrow I'll love ya, tomorrow, you're only a day away.

The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
Bet your bottom dollar
That tomorrow
There'll be sun!
*smooch, smooch*

Just thinkin' about
Tomorrow
Clears away the cobwebs,
And the sorrow
'Til there's none!
*smooch smooch*

When I'm stuck a day
That's gray,
And lonely,
I just stick out my chin
And Grin,
And Say,
Oh!
*smooch smooch*

The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
So ya gotta hang on
'Til tomorrow
Come what may
Tomorrow! Tomorrow!
I love ya Tomorrow!
You're always
A day
*SMOOOOOOCH*

A way!

*SMOOCH*

Can you tell that I can't wait to see them.

Excitement. Joy. Love.

I'm going back to Ohio this weekend for a long mini vacation weekend. A few things I hope to get accomplished....
1. kissing my beautiful beautiful nieces until their cheeks are red
2. Hugging my best friend for hours.
3. Hugging her husband for a few minutes (because lets be honest.. Vinnie doesn't really want to hug me)
4. Jumping on my sisters... multiple times
5. Snuggling with my mom, because it is truly the best thing in the world.
6. Seeing the beautiful Janna Mast and attending a wedding where I will hug Carolina/Carrie/Caroline Yoder soon to be Macomber (i think-- are you taking his name?)
7. Eating good food.
8. Laying outside laughing and smiling until my hearts content.
9. Holding my soon to be adopted cat, Bennett--- unfortunately Alex Berry, aka future brother, is allergic to my sisters beautiful cat, so I am the lucky on that gets to spend the rest of my life with Bennett.

Until then... I need to get through Thursday--- then it's a 4 day weekend filled with babies, sisters, best friends, parents, and lots and lots of love. My most favorite thing in the world.

I can't wait to smooch your face off....

I love when I see this on PA tv...

I don't actually think this is the same commercial, but I love it anyway. It makes me think of summer at the beach or playing softball with my best friends....

I love Ohio.

Damn you stink bug. I don't understand how I keep flushing you down the toilet but you always find away to send another one to my room. I don't understand how you don't realize you aren't flying anywhere, but are continuing to smash your head into my window.
I don't understand how annoying you can be, nor do I understand what it is about you that makes me scream like a small child...

whatever it is... I hate you.

10 things....

So when I traveled abroad in Ireland my Junior year at Bluffton my roommate and I decided we were going to blog about our experience. Her's was for future references for teaching, mine was.... well I got paid. I had been a blogger for a while at Bluffton and why not take it to NI and write about the magic I was around?! Anyway... we loved doing the top 10 list of the places we would go. Dublin, Scotland, Halloween in Derry... the lists would go on and on.

So tonight the first list of Pittsburgh will make it's blogging debut

Ten Reasons I love Pittsburgh
1. The charm.
2. The gorgeous skyline.
3. The structure of the houses--- take a look at Highland Park, Squirrel Hill, Friendship, Lawrenceville, literally the list goes on and on.
4. Union Project. It's now forever a part of my life.
5. The people. If you don't realize how small of a world we live in come to Pittsburgh and then find out.
6. The neighborhoods. All 90 of them (even though, I've yet to be in them all... I bet I love them already)
7. The food. Abay, Smiling Banana Leaf, NaCl, BrGr, People's, Trams, Church Brew Works.... ok, stop me now.
8. The feel of Pittsburgh. Have you ever been to a place and things just feel right. This place has that amazing vibe. I just can't explain it.
9. The green. Hello trees, parks, flowers. I've never been to a place that loved the outdoors as much as Pittsburgh. Sometimes it takes me back to my months in Ireland. Nothing can compete with my Emerald Isle, but this city comes pretty close.
10. The love. It sounds SUPER corny, but I walk outside everyday and can witness a whole lot of love.

Thank you Pittsburgh, for being a place that I can call home. Thank you for understanding that I am a Brown's fan and allowing us to have a love/hate relationship on that level. Thank you for bringing such amazing people into my life.

And to all of you who have yet to come and visit.... I hope this helps. :)

Holy Amazing Circus Batman...

"Did that man really just do that?"
"Andrea, did she just hit her head?"
"Holy piss, I can't watch."
"What is mustache Joe going to do?"

Four phrases that came out of my mouth very frequently last night. It was a circus night in Pittsburgh for 5 of us PULSErs. We were lucky enough to get a deal on tickets and then use our Cultural funds to attend the Cirque Du Soleil. What's more cultural you ask?? Well... I say nothing. I was on the edge of my seat for the incredible performances. I do remember that I said I was going to quit my job and join the circus... just what my mother wants to hear! :) Just kidding mom. I wouldn't fit in anyways because lets be honest, I can barely touch my toes, non the less wrap my body like a crazy pretzel. Overall I say it was incredible, and I encourage all of you to try and see a performance at some point.

Cirque Du Soleil thank you for an amazing Thursday night!

Gleek

Yes. The title explains it all. I am a Gleek. I've loved Glee since the beginning. I'm not sure if it is because it reminds me of my show choir days only not as much drama. We had a kid that couldn't dance... *cough* Nathan *cough* But something that isn't the same... I don't think we ever sounded like Broadway stars... :)

But there is always something about that sort of music that I fall incredibly in love with every time.

Please don't judge me.

It's never too late to be....

Day two has started out much better than the last starting over for blogging, so here's hoping that this is going to become a daily priority.

Last night before I feel asleep I wanted to catch up on my Hulu. This wonderful incredible website is something that has allowed me to have a life but also to still watch my TV shows when I want too. Oh the power of technology. Anyway-- I was catching up on the shows I've missed so dearly. The one in particular... Brothers and Sisters. It never fails that when I sit down to watch an episode I end up blubbering like a baby. Seriously. So last night while sitting in bed I stopped to dry my eyes when the end of the episode popped up and started the waterworks again. Well piss. So... I'm including the clip. If you haven't watched the season finale yet, then DON'T click on the clip-- if you don't watch Brothers and Sisters, shame on you, but feel free to blubber like a baby... no judgment from me. So here's to family and the love and frustration they always bring.

Starting over...

Well-- I've said the past few weeks that I've wanted to start blogging again. Not to show up my new blogging friends, because we all know that I can't compete with a wedding blog, custom made blog, or my dear friend hannah's blog about her first year married and grad student blog, but I just want to blog. I want to tell people about my life, I want people to know some fun things happening in my life or just some fun things that I love to read about....

So I'm starting off with this incredible website.... The Pioneer Woman. There is something about her that puts me at ease when I read her blog. Something about the fact that I can sit and scan through her recipes and not feel like I would be overwhelmed trying to make something... (well not too overwhelmed) So I encourage you to visit her website and love on it like I do.

I'm also going to take advantage of her "Ten Important Things About Blogging"

So-
I feel as though when things begin to get "popular" I want to cut out. Such happened with blogging recently. 4 people in my life have started different blogs. Maybe it's the new hip thing to do, but I think back to my lame posts freshman year of college. I have different things to update about but I don't seem to want to put as much time into it. Sad... i know, since there seem to be a few more of you out there still reading. This past week i've been struggling with finding myself in Pittsburgh. I love the people, I love the friends and the Friday nights, but there has been an inner struggle thinking about what's next. My best friend and babies are moving home, so my heart immediately wants to pack back up and experience their life.... but that isn't going to fix mine. When they start going to school in a few years, I will be just as restless... and to be honest-- there doesn't seem to be much left for me in Clyde just yet. So for right now... Pittsburgh it is. The city of three rivers, steelers fans, and the most beautiful skyline ever.

Here's to you Pittsburgh. I hope you figure out my life for me soon, because I really do love you.
